Approach

Studies show that one of the primary factors supporting change in therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. Relationships are built on trust, and the therapeutic relationship is no different. It's important that you feel heard and understood for therapy to be successful. Working with this in mind, I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental, relational space for you to dig into and unpack your experiences. Our first few sessions will give you the opportunity to see how I work and determine whether you feel we are a good fit. I will ask questions and listen as I come to understand your life circumstances, strengths, and goals. This information will help me tailor sessions specifically to your individual needs.

I believe that you have an innate sense of wholeness and an ability to heal and grow to your fullest potential. As an integrative therapist, I use a variety of therapeutic modalities to support you in your work including Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and attachment theory. Additionally, I incorporate neuroscience, mindfulness, and somatic practices to facilitate the mind-body-spirit connection so that you may lead a richer, more meaningful, life.

My work with individuals and couples is LGBTQIA+ affirming, social justice driven, and holistic in consideration of different cultures, identities, values, and personalities.
